The Secret Command To Reset Ubuntu Desktop to Default Settings
Ubuntu Desktop ကို Default Setting ကို reset လုပ်ပေးနိုင်တဲ့ command တစ်ကြောင်း အကြောင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်
၎င်း command က unity နဲ့ GNOME Shell နှစ် ခုလုံးအတွက် ubuntu 17.04 နဲ့ နောက်ပိုင်း version တွေ မှာ ဘဲ အလုပ်လုပ်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်
မိမိရဲ့ စက်ကို reset ချရတဲ့ အကြောင်းပြချက်က အမျိုးမျိုးရှိပါတယ်
ဥပမာ ကိုယ် မသုံး ဖူးတဲ့ Desktop environments ကို ပြောင်းပြီး အဆင်မပြေ ဖြစ်တာတို့ ကိုယ့် ရဲ့ desktop ကို လွန်လွန်ကျူးကျူး tweak လုပ် ထားတာတို့ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ စက် ကို အသစ်လို့ ပြန်သုံးချင်ပီး reinstall မလုပ်ချင်တော့ တဲ့ အခါမှာ reset ချ ကြပါတယ်
ဘယ်လိုကြောင့်ဖြစ်ဖြစ် ၎င်း command ကို run လိုက်ရင် သင်လုပ်နိုင်တာတွေကတော့
Ubuntu Unity desktop, GNOME desktop , MATE desktop တို့ကို default settings သို့ တစ်ချိန်ထဲမှာပြောင်းပေးမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်
Command ကတော့
dconf reset -f /
ဖြစ်ပါတယ်
၎င်း command ကို run ခြင်း ဖြင့် unity launcher or ubuntu dock တို့မှာ pinned လုပ်ထားတဲ့ apps တွေ panel applets နဲ့ indicators တွေ monitor resolution နဲ့ interface scaling ချိန်ထားတာတွေ keyboard shortcuts, fonts, GTK and icon theme, window button placement, launcher behaviour တွေ reset ဖြစ်သွားမှာပါ
dconf ကို အသုံးပြုတဲ့ app တွေ အကုန် လုံး လည်း reset ဖြစ်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ် အဲ အထဲ မှာ core desktop apps တွေ ဖြစ်တဲ့ Rhythmbox, Evince, Shotwell နဲ့ Nautilus တို့ ပါ ပါတယ်
နောက်ပြီး သတိထားဖို့က library settings တွေ reset ဖြစ်မှာပါ
စက်ထဲမှာ ရှိတဲ့ accounts တွေ delete ဖြစ်သွားမှာပါ
plugins တွေ disable ဖြစ်သွားမှာပါ
ကိုယ် အသုံးပြုနေတဲ့ online services တွေ နဲ့ re-authenticate ပြန် လုပ်ရမှာပါ
Ubuntu factory defaults အတိုင်း ပြန်ဖြစ်သွားမှာပါ
ဒါကြောင့် အလျင်စလို မလုပ်သင့်ပါ
dconf dump
ကို run ရင်တော့ dconf/gsettings အောက်မှာ သိမ်းထားတဲ့ applications တွေ desktop settings တွေ ဘဲ reset ဖြစ်မှာပါ Thunderbird, Google Chrome, Clementine စတဲ့ apps တွေ reset ဖြစ်မှာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး
low level settings တွေ ဖြစ်တဲ့ drivers, kernel versions, grub တို့ကို လည်း affect ဖြစ်မှာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး
KDE Plasma လိုမျိုး desktop environments ကိုလည်း reset ဖြစ်မှာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး
